The process water generated during production is pumped into the inclined lamella clarifier via a collecting tank.
Here, the process water flows through a specially coated honeycomb structure inside the lamella clarifier.
The solid particles contained in the wastewater are separated by a physical flow process and sediment in the solids hopper.
The cleaned water flows via an overflow into a separately provided fresh water tank and is fed back into the production cycle from here.
The thickened sediment is removed from the hopper and pressed into a dry cake in a chamber filter press.
